Joe was born in Florida and raised in southern Dade County. After graduating from High School he joined the Marines and served 4 years, spending the majority of his time serving as an Embassy guard. After an honorable discharge, Joe returned to Miami to attend Barry University and graduated with a BS degree. Joe married the former Miss Cathy Garcia and has two sons Joshua (9) and Justin (7). Joe and Cathy have been married for 13 years.
An avid tri-athlete, he can usually be found training during his off time. Joe has been a Licensed Massage Therapist for over 10 years and is certified in orthopedic massage. Orthopedic massage focuses on the treatment of chronic pain and common athletic injuries.
Pierre has been working at the Herring Massage center for the last 6 years. He’s been practicing massage for over 15 years and is certified in numerous massage modalities, including Shiatsu. Pierre was a professional Jai-alai player in Miami prior to his taking up massage therapy as a career. Jai-alai was played as an exhibition sport in the 1968 Olympics in Mexico City. Pierre represented his native France in the competition and won a silver medal. He has lived in Miami since 1970.
